Créée dans le cadre du programme de résidence LUX, offert par Main Film, OBORO, PRIM et Vidéographe et soutenu par le CALQ, « ALL THE IMAGES » est une œuvre de l’artiste Kim Kölle Valentine qui explore la cohérence inhérente aux récits du présent et du passé.

En filigrane dans ses œuvres, l’artiste se positionne comme sujet principal dans la construction des récits qui nous façonnent en tant qu’individus. La progression des images, des collages et des divers éléments illustre visuellement le déploiement du temps et de l’espace tout au long de nos vies. Si le récit de Kölle Valentine agit comme un ancrage ou un point d’entrée pour notre voyage au sein de l’œuvre, « ALL THE IMAGES » brouille finalement notre expérience directe des éléments, laquelle s’apparente à la traversée d’un miroir qui s’entremêle au parcours particulier de l’artiste.

Created as part of the LUX residency program offered by Main Film, OBORO, PRIM, and Vidéographe with support from CALQ, « ALL THE IMAGES, » a work by multidisciplinary artist Kim Kölle Valentine, explores the inherent coherence of present and past narratives.

Presented in the watermark in her works, the artist positions herself as the main subject in the construction of narratives that shape us as individuals. The progression of images, collages, and various elements visually portrays the unfolding of time and space throughout our lives. While Kölle Valentine’s narrative acts as an anchor or entry point into our journey within the artwork, « ALL THE IMAGES » ultimately blurs our direct experience of the pieces, akin to traversing a mirror, intertwining it with the artist’s distinctive path.
